The holiday of Easter falls on a different day each year, sometimes in March and sometimes in April. Moveable feasts such as Whitsun and Trinity Sunday are fixed according to the date of Easter, which is usually the first Sunday after the 14th day after the first New Moon after March 21st; here is an easy way to find out the date for any Easter from 1583 onwards (credit for this formula goes to Butcher's Ecclesiastical Calendar).
